As if perpetually groggy from sleep, In Touch has a tough time telling fantasy from reality.

For instance, Lily Collins is playing Taylor Lautner’s love interest in Abduction, as Gossip Cop reported. It’s a movie, which means Collins and Lautner play characters who are a couple.

It does not mean that the two have become romantic in real life, despite what the National Enquirer has insisted in the past. In Touch goes with the Enquirer’s “reality” this week.

According to the tab, Lautner has gotten so close to Collins during filming he’s “dumped his on-again/off-again girlfriend, Sara Hicks.” An “insider” claims he broke up with Hicks by phone and has been “gushing to friends” about his amazing chemistry with Collins.

The tabs take turns trying to stir up real-life romance between Lautner and Collins, much like those perpetual rumors of Lautner-Kristen Stewart on-set love that never went anywhere. Right now, the Abduction speculation is nothing more than that.

Like any pair spending long hours together, Lautner and Collins could develop something more than a friendship, but as of now they have not. It looks as though In Touch has failed another “chemistry” test.

The Twilight cupcakes were introduced last month to coincide with the opening of “Twilight: New Moon” and were handed out to fans at an advance screening of the movie in New York. The shop, which specializes in gluten-free cupcakes and vegan cupcakes made with out eggs or dairy products, last month asked cupcake-loving Twilight fans to vote for their favorite Team Edward or Team Jacob cupcake at the shop or on the shop blog.

The cupcakes are selling well and expected to be available through December. Sweet Avenue Bake Shop is at 153 Park Ave., Rutherford.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Taylor Lautner will be hosting Saturday Night Live Dec 12th with musical guest Bon Jovi.

Yes!! I cannot wait to see this!  I’m sure Taylor will do a great job as a host.  Oh the Twilight parodies!!

Looks like Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift are on the fast track from being “just friends” to a little bit more. Tay-Squared stepped out together for the first time officially last night, hitting up the Los Angeles Kings game.

T & T, both dressed in black, took in the game from second-row seats and looked like they were having a fab time together, onlookers tell us.

As for their nightcap?

Sources put the two Taylors entering the Beverly Wilshire Hotel around 10 p.m.—but they were never seen leaving!

Lautner showed up at Swift’s Chicago concert the other week—but besides that, the two cuties haven’t been seen in public together. Until now. Maybe Robsten should take notes?

Hopefully this new couple can go the distance, because T.L. is about to embark on a huge publicity tour for New Moon.

Speaking of Twilight, the cast held its wrap party for Eclipse up in Vancouver on Saturday, but Lautner and costar Ashley Greene fled the country before the shindig took place. Production is on-schedule to wrap this week.

As for the remaining scenes—a source tells us there are some “romantic moments” that need to be shot involving Edward and Bella. But we hear that thanks to some of the out-of-control tourists up in VBC, these will primarily be shot in a studio versus on location.
