Taylor Lautner shirtless in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse helps to advance the film’s plot in a number of ways: a) you can see why Kristen Stewart’s Bella may wonder if a werewolf might be more enticing than a vampire b) it shows that Lautner’s Jacob represents earthiness and sexual desire while Robert Pattinson’s thin, white-faced Edward represent etherealness and spiritual love c) it shows that Jacob may be young but he’s a man. In other words, you can lust after him without feeling guilty.
Lautner was the recent favorite movie actor winner at the Kids’ Choice Awards held in Los Angeles last weekend. He also shared with Kristen Stewart the best on-screen couple award.
He’s not a member of a wolf pack for nothing. Alex Meraz’s Twitter teeth are sharp and he’s out for blood…namely, his costar Taylor Lautner’s blood.
See, Alex (the packer on the far left of the photo) doesn’t think too highly of our favorite 17-year-old’s upcoming movie Valentine’s Day, which also stars that other Taylor, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Patrick Dempsey, Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper and a whole bunch of other Hollywood bigs.
“Sorry Taylor but the movie Valentine’s Day looks lame and desperate,” the New Moon star writes. “It cries out, ‘look we have all the biggest starz in 1 movie pleez watch!’ ”

Taylor has had enough of dating girls who are preoccupied with themselves and instead is opting for the single life for a while.
“I just want someone who can be themselves. Not put on a show,” said Taylor. “It is as simple as that. I’m not dating anyone right now.”
Following Lautner’s split from Swift, it was claimed the two Taylors decided to call time their short-lived, highly-publicized romance after a series of fights over food.
“Unlike Lautner, Swift is anti-diet. Her favorite restaurant is the Cracker Barrel near her family’s Henderson, Tenn., home,” a source said in December.
“Her favorite dish is their biscuits and gravy — something Lautner wouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole!
“Lautner is very athletic and health-conscious, so he eats mostly low-fat protein like skinless chicken breasts, egg whites and vegetables and fruits.
“But Swift loves cheeseburgers and has a major sweet tooth.
“Picking restaurants for date nights has turned into a huge headache and always leads to a squabble.
“The only food option they can agree on is sushi.”

Taylor was patient enough with the lucky fan who was so nervous taking his picture that she couldn’t get the image right until the fourth time. He also went to the Gym, he went in with jeans out with sweatpants. Taylor, you don’t change in the locker room do you? hahaha.

Will “Twilight Saga” stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner attend next month’s Golden Globes?
The Dish Rag has it on good authority that it’s a definite possibility.
And if they do, there’s also a very good chance we’ll see them afterwards at at least one of the five official parties that night. OMG, this is better news than Rob’s unreleased photos!
There are five parties already confirmed to take place on Sunday, Jan. 17, inside the Beverly Hilton where the Globes are traditionally held.
And fledgling film company Summit Entertainment (yes, the “Twilight Saga” studio) has joined the ranks of the big studio parties being thrown at the hotel by Universal, NBC, Warner Bros, HBO, and Harvey and Bob Weinstein.
As usual, there will the infamous Instyle/Warner Bros bash down in the Oasis Courtyard.
And then there’s the Universal/NBC/Focus fete, held high on the hotel roof overlooking Beverly Hills, followed by the always hot HBO bash at Circa 55, spreading out around the pool. Then there’s Weinstein Company’s celebration, traditionally held in the former Trader Vic’s space.
But the big news is that distributor Summit Entertainment — the folks who brought us the infectiously successful “Twilight Saga: New Moon as well as the critically lauded “The Hurt Locker” — will hold its very first onsite Golden Globe party this year.
We hear it will be in the Stardust Room.
We’re thinking at least a couple supernatural attendees will be mandatory.
Hugh Jackman, Taylor Lautner, Mariah Carey and Sandra Bullock are among the stars expected at next week’s People’s Choice Awards.
Steve Carell, Carrie Underwood, Ellen DeGeneres and LL Cool J are also set to attend the celebrity-filled ceremony on Jan. 6 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast live on CBS.
Executive producer Mark Burnett says the stars “are coming out in droves to thank the fans for their love and support.”
